We soon had toasts in the main house—thank you so much
Rich, Garth, Kamala, Inger, Dad, and Sandra for your toasts!
One memorable and powerful moment was when Kamala asked us to
look around the room at our family and friends, to see all of
the love and support we have. We looked, one person at a time,
into the sea of loving eyes and acknowledged each person with
welling emotion.
Cake cutting and eating followed. The cakes were delicious and
beautifully decorated with pink orchids and roses by local
upcountry baker JoAnn. Right afterwards, our local marimba
band, Mapenzi, started playing and all of the fun dancing began!
The music was so upbeat and joyous—it just promoted joy
and laughter!
Thank you, all
of you, for being apart of our Maui wedding reception and
gifting us with all of your love and support. We would like
to especially acknowledge Inger, our sister and wedding coordinator,
for all of her loving help to create this party (and all of
the festivities!), as well as mom and dad for their support
and generous help in sponsoring this memorable event—thank
you! We also really appreciate you Zephyr, as well as all
of the Z-landers, for letting us have our reception at our
home. Kimana, your gift of coordinating and making all of
the food was incredible and unforgettable--big hugs!Thank
you, also, Richard for taking 700+ photographs as a gift for
